Encoded is owned and operated by Trine Bøttger and Lone Husted. After a number of years in Bali, Trine’s passion for the handmade and aesthetic design began to grow. She returned to Denmark to design a unique collection with a classic and timeless elegance produced with the heart.

Lone has worked with internationalization and business development for years with a passion for design. The perfect match occurred when Trine & Lone first met at a trade show in 2015.

Encoded is today an international company based on a Danish-designed collection, produced in Bali.

We are very conscious of the quality of the materials we use, their durability, expressions in terms of timelessness and the conditions in which they are manufactured. The people we work with are the essence of our company’s philosophy and we are aware that they are treated in a respectful manner according to Fair Trade principles.

Through the production chain, our partners ensure that the teak wood is properly certified.

Sustainability is part of our production and history of every piece of furniture we make. All our furniture comes with recycled safety belts from old cars. Under each leather strap you will see the safety belts, securing the furniture stability, flexibility and durability.
